Floyd Jackson, private investigator and sometime blackmailer, was out of a license and out of dough. So, when he was offered ten crisp hundred dollar bills, he decided to take them. Even though the assignment was robbery. All he had to do was get past some man hungry dogs, break into a millionaire's castle and steal a gold compact. Jackson was smart enough to know it was a phoney proposition. But he didn't figure he'd run into a murder that could be pinned on him.
