Crime Fiction Alphabet 2013: The Letter P

The Crime Fiction Alphabet keeps rolling along. We are currently in week 16 with the letter P. Kerrie over at her blog Mysteries in Paradise is kind enough to host this community meme. The rules a quite simple. By Friday of each week participants write a blog post about crime fiction related to the letter of the week. The post must be related to either the first letter of a book's title, the first letter of an author's first name, or the first letter of the author's surname, or even maybe a crime fiction "topic". But above all, it has to be crime fiction. This time around I will be featuring a Carter Brown title for each letter of the alphabet.

Carter Brown: P is for The Passionate

The sizzling brunette collected shrunken heads but she offered Al Wheeler five thousand dollars to bring her the live heart of her ex-husband. The torrid redhead collected men and she offered Al Wheeler her pretty self. The ladies were twin sisters. Each, in her own seductive way, was trying   to take the tenacious cop's mind off their matched set of corpses. But Al wasn't buying their brand of pleasure. Not while he suspected that their trademark....was murder.

  1. Scott - Ah, more shrunken heads! ;-) And it's interesting isn't it how the covers differ so much!

  2. I totally missed the shrunken heads until I saw Margot's comment. Another interesting group of covers.
