She Lived In Danger And Died In Fear.....

"Christopher," the girl said angrily, "stop fooling about!. We are wasting time! I'm fool proof where you are concerned! It's over! Finished!" He did not answer. He pushed the door to without closing it. Then he moved into the darkness towards the rear of the car. The girl, resigned, lifted her handbag onto her knees and rummaged in it. Taking out her compact and opening it, she looked at her features in the oval shaped mirror it contained, bent towards the dashboard to take advantage of its small light. She didn't know it, but she was looking at herself for the last time......
